Ours suits green wood and dry alike, and it packs down small enough to carry every day. Reach for it to size firewood to length, cut a batch of tent stakes, or clear a fallen branch off the path.

Set for real cutting, not a display shelf

We set the teeth with a medium cut, the same range most general-purpose hand saws use for wood. That gives you a saw that bites into green wood without dragging, and still leaves a clean enough cut for camp carpentry. A smith forges the blade from high-carbon steel and hand-sets each tooth, so the saw actually cuts rather than just looking the part.

Made by hand in Nepal

Every saw comes from a hereditary blacksmith family in the Kathmandu Valley who have forged working tools for generations. A smith shapes the blade, sets the teeth, and fits a hardwood handle by hand. We keep our makers private and pay them fairly for skilled work.

It does not exist until you order it

We make most tools to order rather than hold big stock. Once your order lands, a smith starts your saw by hand. Expect 30 to 50 days from order to dispatch, and delivery on top of that. Good work is worth the wait.
